Stylist Magazine

Today I want to introduce you to this really cool free fashion magazine that I get every wednesday when I come off the tube.

Its called 'Stylist'. Its filled to the brim with latest designer fashion, beautiful travel destinations. Interviews from celebs and people in the industry, lifestyle ideas and beauty must have products.

This week they are celebrating their 5th birthday and were holding an exhibition at Proud Galleries (the week just gone), of all their best magazine covers and the development process of the magazine.
On Thursday I went up to have a look at this exhibition. Below are some of my favourite pictures that I took.

Stylist Magazine is well worth a read for all those fashion fans out there. If you live or work in London I believe that they are available every Wednesday morning by the tube station. For those who don't live in London or they don't go past someone giving them out, you can download it on the App Store,  Kindle Fire and Google Play

Enjoy

Don't tell the bride

One of my favourite tv shows is Don't tell the bride. Every week I'm left shocked by what the groom thinks is their bride would want.

Sometimes some of the grooms can even forget what the bride dislikes.

GROOMS if your bride is afraid of heights don't base your wedding around heights!

Each episode reminds me how I will never let my future husband plan my wedding. Even if I did he would have strict instructions of what it would have to be like!

One thing annoys me about the groom is that when how he doesn't actually actually knows his brides size. I think that after living with his bride he should have a rough idea of what size she is

But overall I love this programme and it brings a smile to my face each time i watch

Things to do on your commute

So 4 days every week I commute up to London, from Winchester (about 60 miles), to go to college. That means I'm on the train for about 2 hours every day. Which when your doing nothing is a very long time. But to kill time I spend it doing other things like blogging to make time go quicker.

This is what I do on my commute:

1) Watch a film on my iPod. My favourite is Breakfast at Tiffany's

2) Reading but not from a tablet from a real paper back book. One of my favourites is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
-REMEMBER! Real books have curves!-

3) Write. I like to jot down my thoughts or even things I notice on the train. It's great to look back on and remember.

4) Read the metro or evening standard. An easy way to keep up to date on what's going on in the world and to kill time. Plus it's free so what's not to love?

5) Blog. Like what I'm doing right now. Plan what your going to say or when your going to post next. It will kill 10 minutes at least!

6) Sleep. Most commuters sleep, you can look round and see at least half the carriage catching up on their beauty sleep and I have to admit I'm the same.

7) Scroll through social media. From twitter to pinterest. Bring yourself up to date with what everyone else is doing whilst your stuck on the train.

8) Do your make up. I see many girls on the train with their compact mirrors and mascara. And really it's a good idea! Plus you get an extra 10-15 minutes in bed

9) Learn a new language. I don't do this but I have seen other commuters with their 'learn Spanish' book. It's a good way to spend the time. Especially if you travel a lot.

10) Pin on Pinterest. Now for those who know me it's no secret I'm addicted to Pinterest. And I'm regularly on it during my commutes.
