Whats in my bag?

Hello beautiful people ❤

I'm one of those people who can't leave the house without my bag. Even if it's going down the pub for an hour or to the shops, I have to take my bag!

1) My purse is from primark. I'm not a big fan of the purse but I can't seem to find a purse that I like

2) I'm obsessed with my planner at the moment and I'm planning a blog post later on about it! It's from personal-planner.com

3) The notebook is for drafting all my blog posts.

4) I'm still a student so I keep my pencil case in my bag at all time so I don't have to remember to put it in when I have college.

5) I still keep my sunglasses in my because we're at the stage that although it's cold it's still sunny these were a £1 from Primark.

6) My college lanyard is something else I always keep in my bag otherwise i will forget to bring it.

7) Clear cosmetic bag. I keep all my beauty essentials in this bag so that its easy to get too.

8) My house keys

9) I have an iPhone and I'm constantly having to charge it so I bought myself a battery pack for £6 from Primark

In my cosmetic bag I have:
1) Sephora mango hand cream
2) Jimmy Choo perfume
3) Mini hair brush
4) Vaseline Queen Bee lip balm

Pinterest Obsessed

I am completely obsessed with Pinterest!! So much so I have to ban myself from going on it during the week, otherwise I would never get to sleep.  I have two accounts on Pinterest. I have a
personal one and blog one. To give me an excuse to go on Pinterest I thought that I would share with you a different board with you on the second week of every month and include my three top favourite photos.

So this month I'm going to start out with my photoshoot board. I created this board to inspire me when I open my own brand and store for advertising campaigns. These are my 3 favourite pins from this board.

Battle of the Brands - EYESHADOW PRIMERS

HELLO AGAIN,

Today I want to do a make up review of 3 different eyeshadow primers. Eyeshadow primers are a big part of my make up routine. I tend to put on eyeshadow on everyday and, like I have said in past posts, I find that without a primer my eyeshadow tends to fade really quickly and ends up looking terrible. So finding the right eyeshadow primer is a big must for me. So here is my reviews of the eyeshadow primers I own. I'm going list them in order of my least favourite to my most favourite last.

Eye Shadow Primer 1-
Brand: Catrice Cosmetics
Product: Prime and Fine Eyeshadow Base
Size: 5ml
Price: £4.90

I wasn't impressed with this primer. I found that the eyeshadow faded very quickly and wasn't as long lasting as the other two. Also applying this primer was harder as it had a wand to apply instead of applying by fingers.

Eye Shadow Primer 2-
Brand: B.
Product: Long-wear Eyeshadow Primer
Size: 15ml
Price: £8.99

I think it works very well and the only way it could improve is if the eyeshadow had stayed on in the crease of my eye. But regardless it is really good and it will definitely become part of my daily make up routine.

Eye Shadow Primer 3-
Brand: Kiko
Product: Eye Base Primer
Size: 10ml
Price: £6.90

This is by far my favourite primer. When you put eyeshadow on top it doesn't move. I even had a nap with this primer on and eye shadow on and when I woke up it hadn't moved. I couldn't recommend this primer highly enough!

Until later

Caring for your brushes

Make up brushes are vital to everyones make up routine. But after a while they get clogged up with excess makeup, which means its heaven for bacteria. Realistically we should be giving our brushes a clean every week. Now i'm the first to admit that i don't always remember to do it every week. It wasn't until about six months ago i even started to clean my make up brushes. I didn't even know I should be doing it let alone every week. But it is really easy to do and today i want to share with you how i do it in 3 easy steps.

Step One- The first thing i do is put a blob of Johnsons soft wash into a jug and i fill it up with hot water. (Note- you can use any type of shower gel, shampoo or conditioner you want. I like using Johnsons because of the strong smell.)

Step Two- I then swirl my brushes one by on around in the soapy hot water taking them out now and again to scrub with a flannel. I tend to leave my foundation brush until last as this takes the most work and makes the most mess.

Step Three- Finally i spray my brushes with make up brush disinfectant from primark and place them down on kitchen towel to soak up any excess water. (There are other brush sanitisers that are available. One sanitiser I would suggest using is the 'Make up Revolution Antibacterial Brush Cleaner' which is £5 from Superdrug)

And thats how i clean my make up brushes.

Until later
